Back in August, socially-conscious experimental hip-hop collective WAKE launched wakeATL: Call To Action, a series of performances combining music, art, and activism with the goal of finding practical solutions to pressing social issues. For this second installment, WAKE is partnering with the Housing Justice League for a conversation surrounding gentrification and displacement. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the Housing Justice League and an opportunity for attendees to find out how to get involved. On the music tip, WAKE shares the stage with local hip-hop, electronic, and left-leaning acts Stacy Epps (with Yamin Semali DJing), Deku featuring SAUDE, and Lingua Franca. Fort Knox hosts.

wakeATL: A Call To Action. Free (donations at the door). 10 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 10. Aisle 5, 1123 Euclid Ave N.E. www.aisle5atl.com.
