ICYMI: Birmingham-based Revelator Coffee Company has purchased Octane Coffee. The beloved local coffee chain, which has posts in Grant Park, Westside, Atlanta Tech Village and Woodruff Arts Center, will rebrand under the Revelator name and serve their products. RIP Octane. In a bit of good news, Little Tart Bakeshop will continue to operate out of the Grant Park location.

Second Self Beer Company (1317 Logan Circle N.W.) has launched a monthly artist showcase and rotating gallery. The first begins today, April 4, with Athens-based artist Laura Chamberlain Douglas. With and entry fee, guests can view and purchase art and attend a brewery tour. Souvenir glass and beer samples included.

Bread and Butterfly has a new chef. Remi Granger, the opening executive sous chef at Revival and former sous chef at Gunshow follows Brandon Bailey, who began working at the Inman Quarter restaurant in August. Granger pairs well with the wine selection at B&B, as he is originally from Loire Valley.

There is a new tap takeover series at Midtownbs 5Church (1197 Peachtree St. N.E.) on the first Thursday of every month. The series starts this week on April 6B with Monday Night Brewing from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on the rooftop patio. Highlights from each monthbs brewery feature flight of four or single pints.

With over 100 submissions, the 2017 UGA Flavor of Georgia Food Product Contest had three Atlanta winners. Revolution Gelato and Fairywood Thicket Farm jams took home prizes, and Georgia Grinders nut butters took home the grand prize.
