A shooting near the Atlanta University Center around midnight left one person critically injured, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Some outlets, according to the AJC, have reported that the shooting victim is a student at the AUC, which is a consortium of three historically black colleges. However, police have not confirmed the person’s identity. “We are still working to confirm that information with the school,” according to a police spokeswoman.

The victim, shot in the stomach, is being treated at Grady Hospital, and APD’s homicide team is investigating, according to the AJC.

No other details were immediately available.
