Monday Night Brewing Garage Sept. 29-Sept. 30, 2017 MADE SOUTH Atlanta Nashville-based company MADE SOUTH is headed to Atlanta to host a weekend of food and shopping. The event will feature more than 90 craftsmen and artisans from all over the South along with bites and libations from local chefs and bartenders. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit FOCUS + Fragile Kids, a nonprofit that helps children who are medically fragile or have significant disabilities. Details

Flying Biscuit Sept. 29, 2017, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Flying Biscuit Birthday Celebration To celebrate its birthday, the John’s Creek Flying Biscuit is throwing a party! Holeman and Finch Sept. 30, 2017, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Gypsy Chef Series: Terry Koval Holeman and Finch’s executive chef Spencer Gomez will host the third installment of his “Gypsy Chef” series, featuring chef Terry Koval of Wrecking Bar Brewpub. Gomez and Koval will join forces to serve up an Oktoberfest-themed menu and experience. Details

Piedmont Park Sept. 30, 2017, 3-10 p.m. Oktoberfest in the Park Presented by Park Tavern, A Social Mess, and Sierra Nevada, Oktoberfest in the Park will feature live music performances, food and drink specials, games, and a costume contest. Performances from the likes of Wasted Potential Brass Band and Bon Jovi tribute band Slippery When Wet will set the scene for an afternoon of revelry as guests are invited to try their hand at games like beer pong and giant jenga, and enjoy signature German bites. CVI is hosting a three-course meal in complete darkness for guests to witness the feelings of having a meal without vision. After dinner, a reception will be held to offer insight on how to engage all of the senses to talk, sit, eat and drink in darkness. CVI is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve the lives of those without vision by offering services and products that help individuals navigate the world. Details
