Egg Harbor Cafe July 7, 2017, 7:30-9 a.m. Network Under 40: ATL Dine With 9 Breakfast This small networking event facilitates friendly and business connections for young people. A ticket covers all expenses including a meal from the preset menu. Tickets are only available online, 21+. Details

East Lake Commons July 8, 2017, 6:30 p.m. The Guild’s Refugee Supper Club Co-living social enterprise The Guild is partnering with Empowering Refugees, an Atlanta organization dedicated to refugee support and community assimilation, to organize this special dinner. A Syrian refugee family will prepare a traditional Arabic meal, the proceeds of which will go directly to helping the family afford the daily needs and expenses of settling in their new home. Empowering Refugees and The Guild will also speak at the dinner about how to get more involved with the refugee community and help make them feel welcome. This intimate dinner will have very limited seating, so early RSVP is appreciated. Details

Abbey of the Holy Goats Brewery July 8, 2017, 2-6 p.m. Pours for Pets Bring your dog to this event at Abbey of the Holy Goats Brewery to raise money and support for non-profit no-kill shelters in Atlanta. Ticket price includes beer tour and tasting in a souvenir glass, with a percentage of the proceeds benefitting Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. There will also be live music and games for entertainment. Guests can also build a Prime Pet Box full of toys and treats for dogs, and chat with the authors of Atlanta Beer: A Heady History of Brewing the Hub of the South. Tickets purchased on-site. Details

Oakland Cemetery July 8, 2017, 6-8 p.m. Malts and Vaults of Oakland with Wild Heaven Beer This hour-long guided walking tour starts at the cemetery Bell Tower and ends with a Wild Heaven Beer tasting. Ron Smith and Mary O. Boyle will also be available to sign copies of their books Atlanta Beer Book and Atlanta Prohibition Book. Details

Piedmont Park July 9, 2017, 4-7 p.m. Queer Picnic in The Park This free picnic is hosted by Rotten Peaches, an organization dedicated to providing space for women and the LGBT community in Atlanta to relax and have fun.
