Tomorrow is the last day to view Atlanta Celebrates Photography’s My Atlanta exhibition. The show includes 781 photographs submitted by Atlantans, featuring images by the general public as well as elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and senior centers.

The exhibit is open tomorrow (Sat., Oct. 19) at the Piedmont Park Community Center near the Green Market from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Recently, Creative Loafing’s Culture Editor Wyatt Williams and myself judged the exhibition awarding more than a dozen images in categories ranging from Critics Choice to Best Use of Color. CL reached out to the winners and asked them to tell the stories behind their photographs. We received wide-ranging responses from stories of long-lost rolls of film documenting Martin Luther King Jr.’s funeral to elaborate setups involving destroying TVs.

Check out our gallery of My Atlanta Photograph award winners and their thoughts on the images.
