>> While the world awoke to the reality of a Donald Trump presidency and the thought of him stacking the Supreme Court in his favor, Gov. Nathan Deal was busy making similar shifts in Georgia. Yesterday, he appointed Georgia Court of Appeals judge Michael Boggs to the Georgia Supreme Court. Boggs has been criticized for espousing anti-LGBT views and fighting against marriage equality as a state lawmaker.

>> In line with opposition in cities across the country, Atlantans took to the streets to protest President-elect Donald Trump last night. It was called “Love Trumps Hate,” but not so much in the ballot box. More local protests are planned.

>> Let Atlanta’s love affair with MARTA and mass transit begin, I guess.

>> America’s new Don meets Obama at Trump’s future digs, the White House, later today. The first black president will be succeeded by a guy backed by the KKK.

>> Presidential candidates love to decry the electoral college — until they win.
