HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern will open its second metro Atlanta location this spring in Town Brookhaven. The newest location will be located in the former Smash Kitchen & Bar space (804 Town Blvd., Suite 1010).

Pano Karatassos, son of famed restaurateur I. Pano Karatassos and executive chef at the renowned Kyma Greek restaurant, will publish his first cookbook through Rizzoli in winter 2018. The yet to be titled tome will focus on Greek cuisine.

Ford Fry’s second El Felix is slated to open at SunTrust Park in the spring of 2017, and rumor has it that the project will reunite the prolific restaurateur with designer Smith Hanes, who designed Fry’s first restos like JCT. Kitchen & Bar, No. 246 and The Optimist.

Auburn, Alabama-based Chicken Salad Chick will fill the space left empty by the closure of 521 Kitchen & Que on Roswell Road, according to Tomorrow’s News Today. Chicken Salad Chick features “15 original chicken salad flavors, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and freshly-baked desserts.” Chicken Salad Chick has around a dozen Georgia locations.

The Four Seasons Atlanta has hired Lasheeda Perry as its new pastry chef, Perry is a five-year veteran of Four Seasons properties across the country.

The Einstein Bros. Bagels at 1676 Monroe Drive is slated to be demolished and replaced with a PNC Bank branch, according to What Now Atlanta.
