Today, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, soon-to-be home of the Falcons and Atlanta United FC, announced its official list of restaurant partners. Slated to open in time for the NFL’s 2017 season, the stadium’s premium food and beverage program will be driven by Atlanta-based chefs and designed to showcase the “Best of Atlanta.” Together with concession partner Levy Restaurants, the stadium polled over 4,000 Falcons and Atlanta United fans to determine their favorite foods and restaurants, with a focus on including locally and minority-owned businesses.Mercedes-Benz Stadium will also introduce new concepts from local partners Kevin Gillespie (Gunshow, Revival, Woodfire Grill), Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, and the Concentrics Restaurant group. “It was important that our restaurant offerings not only reflect the world-class quality of Atlanta’s culinary scene but also represent what our fans said they wanted,” said Mike Gomes, AMB Sports & Entertainment’s senior vice president of fan experience, in an official press release. Upholding its “fan-first” food and beverage model, announced earlier this year, the stadium promises to offer some of the lowest concession pricing in major league sports (hello $5 beers and $2 hotdogs!) with a focus on quality, variety, and speedy service. The newly announced restaurant partners “will extend the fan-first pricing philosophy offering menu items priced comparably or the same as what is found in their respective restaurants,” said the press release. Here is the official list of featured restaurants:- Antico: “Locally owned authentic Neapolitan pizza.”- Golden Brown & Delicious: “A fun Southern concept from Concentrics Restaurants, creators of Atlanta’s One Midtown Kitchen and Two Urban Licks.”- Bruster’s Real Ice Cream: “An Atlanta favorite, premium handcrafted ice cream made fresh daily.”- Chick-fil-A: “Atlanta’s iconic chicken sandwich and more.”- Delia’s Chicken Sausage: “Atlanta’s chef-driven, hand-crafted, all-natural chicken sausage.”- Farm Burger: “Fresh, locally-sourced grass-fed beef burgers.”- Fox Bros.
